Product Benefits:

Ideal for use on all previously painted surfaces, steel, timber, canvas tilts, chipboard, MDF, steel, hard and soft plastic, UPVc, fibreglass, roofing felt, aluminium, galvanised steel, polycarbonate, old silicone sealants, rubber, and similar

Bridges cracks and dries to a flexible rubberised film that stretches 200% which means it will move with the repair and remain watertight.

Dries to a satin finish, suitable for interior and exterior use with excellent waterproof properties

Ideal for spot painting leaks, easy brush application that is shower proof in around 2 to 3 hours.

This self priming, high build coating is ideal for sealing leaks on most surfaces.

Good anti-corrosive properties, ideal for use onto bare steel.

Can be over-coated with our MV Matt, Satin or Gloss Paints. Note: Do not overcoat Etch Primer or Primer For Plastic.

Suitable for interior and exterior use with excellent waterproof properties.

For the best results two coats are recommend.

Easy brush or roller application that is shower proof in around 2 to 3 hours.

 

 

 

What you are buying:

 

Each kit contains:

1 x 500ml Water Leak Repair Paint.

2 x Bridging Scrim 50 mm x 4 mts each.

1 x Paint Brush.

1 x Instruction leaflet.

 

 

How to use:

1) Ensure the surface is clean and dry.

2) Stir the paint to ensure uniformity.

3) Apply with the brush supplied or a good quality roller overlapping the gap or hole by around 10 mm.

4) When the first coat is touch dry apply the second coat overlapping the first coat by around 10 mm.

5) Shower proof in around 2 hours through dry overnight.

6) Clean tools with water.

 

7) Large gaps may require using the Bridging Scrim, see instructions 8 to 12.

 

8) Cut a piece or pieces of scrim to overlap the leaking area by 15 to 20 mm on all sides.

9) Apply the paint around the leaking area.

10) Using the brush press the scrim into the wet paint ensuring the scrim overlaps the leaking area by 15 to 20 mm on all sides.

11) Apply the first coat onto the scrim overlapping by around 10 mm on all sides.

12 When the first coat is touch dry apply the second coat overlapping the first coat by around 10 mm.

 

Size & coverage: 500ml which will cover approximately 30 square feet depending upon the application and the texture of the surface to be painted.
